Ingredients
- 3/4 cup flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 Tbsp. corn meal
- 1/2 cup powdered milk
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- cold water
- 2 1/2 cups finely chopped onions
Directions
- Mix together flour, baking powder, corn meal, milk, sugar and salt. Stir in enough cold water for thick batter. Mix in onions and drop by teaspoonfuls into hot, deep fat. Flatten patties slightly as you turn them, Fry to a golden brown.
