Granola Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 cup low-fat granola
  • 1 cup regular or quick cooking rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup mixed nuts
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 3 Tbsp. packed brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. canola or cooking oil
  • 3 Tbsp. honey
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Line an 8×8×2-inch baking pan with foil. Grease the foil; set pan aside. Combine granola oats, nuts, flour and raisins in a large mixing bowl. Stir together egg, brown sugar, oil honey, and cinnamon in a bowl. Stir into granola mixture until well-coated. Press evenly into the pan.
  2. Bake for 125 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned around the edges. Cool on a wire rack. Cut into bars. Use foil to remove bars from pan.
