Lemon Chicken

Ingredients
- 1 chicken
- chicken stock
- juice of 3 lemons
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup boiling water
Directions
- Simmer chicken in chicken stock to cover in wok until nearly tender, about 20 minutes.
- Remove; half lengthwise. Place on broiler rack. Broil 4 to 5 inches from heat 10 minutes. Turn; broil another 10 minutes or until golden brown.
- Meanwhile, mix lemon juice, sugar and boiling water in saucepan. Bring to a boil; simmer 2 to3 minutes. Remove from heat; set aside.
- Arrange chicken halves on platter; spoon lemon sauce over chicken. Serve.
