Bucky Bites

Ingredients

  • 1 lb cheese curds
  • flour
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • vegetable oil
  • 2/3 cup mayo
  • 1 garlic clove, grated
  • 1 cup lager

Directions

  1. Toss cheese curds with 1 tbsp flour; set aside. Whisk 1 cup each of flour and lager with paprika. Working in small batches, dip the curds in the batter using a slotted spoon; let the excess drip off, then deep-fry in 1 inch of vegetable oil until golden brown, about 1 minute.

  2. Drain on paper towels. Mix mayo with garlic; serve with the fried cheese curds.
