Weeknight Beef Skillet

Ingredients

  • 3 cups uncooked whole wheat noodles
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 15 oz can tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire
  • 1 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 16 oz package frozen mixed vegetables, thawed and drained
  • 1/4 cup minced fresh parsley

Directions

  1. Cook noodles according to package; drain. Meanwhile, in a large nonstick skillet, cook beef and pepper over medium heat 5-7 minutes or until beef is no longer pink, breaking up beef into crumbles; drain.

  2. Add tomato sauce, Worcestershire, Italian seasoning, and sugar to beef mixture; bring to a boil. Stir in vegetables; heat through. Serve with noodles and sprinkle with parsley.
