Ingredients
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 2 strips bacon, diced
- 1 cup sliced Anaheim chilies
- 1/2 cup sliced onion
- 1 tbsp minced fresh garlic
- salt and black pepper to taste
Directions

Boil water in a saute pan over medium-high heat. Add broccoli and parboil, covered, 3 minutes. Transfer broccoli to a bowl; wipe any residual moisture from the pan.

Cook bacon in the same pan until crisp. Add chilies and onion; saute over medium-high heat until chilies wilt, 3 minutes. Return broccoli to pan and stir in garlic. Saute until broccoli is crisp-tender, 2 minutes more; season with salt and pepper.
