Smothered Pork Loin

Ingredients

  • 3 lb. pork loin
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 10 oz. cans cream of mushroom soup

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Slice pork loin into half-inch steaks. Lightly brown pork on both sides over medium low heat. Salt and pepper to taste while browning. Place pork in 9 × 13 inch pan; can be double-stacked. Place onion slices on top of meat. In a large mixing bowl, continue 2 cans of soup with water. Mix well. Pour soup mixture over meat. Bake uncovered 1 hour.
