Strawberry Cheesecake

Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 2 (8oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1 (16 oz.) container sour cream
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. grated lemon rind
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp. almond extract
- 1/3 cup red currant jelly
- 1 tsp. water
- [2 cups halved fresh strawberries
Directions
- Combine first 4 ingredients, stirring well; press into bottom and 1 inch up sides of a 9-inch springform pan.
- Beat cheese and next 7 ingredients at medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth. Pour into crust.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour or until center of cheesecake is set. Cool on a wire rack chill 8 hours.
- Stir together jelly and 1 tsp. water in a small saucepan. Cook over low heat until jelly melts; cool slightly. Arrange strawberries over cheesecake; brush with jelly mixture.
