Sweet-Tart Lemonade

about 2 lbs. of lemons equals 2 cups juice.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups cold water
  • 2 cups Sugar Syrup
  • 1 3/4 to 2 ups fresh lemon juice
  • Sugar Syrup:
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 tsp. fresh lemon juice

Directions

  1. Stir together all ingredients until well blended; serve over ice.
  2. Sugar Syrup:

  3. Stir together all ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring often. Reduce heat, and simmer 1 minute of until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat; cool.
