Ingredients
- 6 large sweet potatoes
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp seasoned salt
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup mayo
- 2 tbsp sriracha
- Kosher salt, for sprinkling
Directions
-
Preheat oven to 450.
-
Peel the sweet potatoes, then slice them into wide strips. Stack the strips and slice them into thin sticks. Place all the potatoes in a large bowl.
-
Melt the butter in a small skillet or saucepan over medium-low heat, then use a spoon to skim off the foam. Add the garlic, seasoned salt, chili powder, and pepper and stir it all together.
-
Pour the butter mixture over the sweet potatoes and use your hands to toss them to coat. Place them on two rimmed baking sheets to avoid crowding and bake them for 15-17 minutes, shaking the pans a couple of times during baking. Let them rest on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before serving.
-
To make a quick dipping sauce, combine the mayo and sriracha and stir to combine. Pile the fries on a plate next to the sauce and go for it!
