Ingredients

• 1 box yellow butter cake mix
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 3/4 cup vegetable oil
• 1/4 water
• 4 eggs
• 8 oz. sour cream
• 2 to 3 Tbsp. poppy seeds
• confectioners' sugar for dusting

Directions

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a Bundt pan.
2. Combine all ingredients and mix well. Pour batter into the prepared pan. Bake 33 to 43 minutes or until a tester inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool until just warm, then invert onto a serving platter.
3. Once completely cool, dust with confectioners’ sugar, or drizzle with lemon-flavored icing.
