Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 4 egg yolks
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Directions
- Whisk together milk and next 3 ingredients in a heavy saucepan; cook over low heat 10 to 12 minutes or until mixture is thickened and almost boils. Remove from heat, and stir in vanilla and butter. Chill. Serve custard over pecan pie.
