Italian Chicken

Ingredients

  • 3 lb. bone-in skinless chicken pieces (legs, breasts, thighs)
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. canola oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1 (0.62 to 1.25 oz.) pkg. Italian-style spaghetti sauce mix
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 4 cups sliced zucchini (1/2 inch thick)
  • 8 oz. sliced crimini mushrooms

Directions

  1. Rub chicken pieces with garlic powder, seasoned salt and pepper.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet on medium-high. Add chicken and cook 2 minutes, browning on all sides. Place chicken, Italian seasoning, spaghetti sauce mix and wine in a 4 to 6 quart slow cooker. Cover, cook on low 6 to 7 hours or on high 3 to4 hours. Add zucchini and mushrooms during last hour of cooking. Serve the chicken-vegetable mixture over linguine.
