Mexican Sauce

Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. chili powder, regular of hot
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. flour or gluten-free flour
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 1 tsp. white vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2-3 Tbsp. ground cumin
- cayenne pepper to taste, optional
Directions
- Heat the oil in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Combine the chili powder and flour and slowly stir them into the oil until it makes a smooth paste, Gradually add the water while stirring constantly to make a smooth sauce. Add the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Lower heat to a simmer and cook for about 3 minutes until thickened.
