Ingredients
- 1 medium head red cabbage, chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 2 Granny Smith apples
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Directions
- Cook cabbage and onion in hot oil in large nonstick skillet or Dutch oven over medium-low heat, attiring occasionally 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, peel and chop apples; toss with lemon juice. Stir apple mixture, sugar, salt and pepper into cabbage mixture. Cook, stirring occasionally, 30 minutes.
