Lynn’s N’Orleans Barbecue Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 lb. medium or large shrimp, shell-on
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • Tabasco sauce, to taste
  • French bread, for serving (see note)

Directions

  1. In a large skillet sauté onion in butter until translucent. Add garlic and saute 1 minute more. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce and shrimp and cook until shrimp are pink, about 3 minutes. Season to taste with salt, pepper and Tabasco, Serve the bread for sopping up the sauce.
  2. Note: Glover likes to serve the shrimp with crusty French bread that has been butrtered and sprinkled with garlic powder and baked until crispy.
