Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 pkg. (.87 oz.) brown gravy mix
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 2
- Tbsp. minced parsley
- 1 Tsp. tarragon
- 1/2 tsp. grated lemon peel
Directions
- Combine beef and onion; shape to form 1 1/2 inch meatballs. Sauté in butter in a large skillet until browned and cooked through. Remove to hot serving platter or chafing dish.
- Pour off drippings from skillet. Add water and gravy mix to skillet. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer 1 minute. Stir in cream and nutmeg. Heat to serving temperature, stir in parsley, tarragon and lemon peel. Pour over meatballs. Serve with noodles.
