Ingredients
- 2 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1 large green bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 large onion, diced
- 5 garlic clove, minced
- 1 1/2 cups ketchup
- 2 tbsp packed brown sugar
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- Worcestershire to taste
- Tabasco sauce to taste
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 8 kaiser rolls
- 2 tbsp butter
Directions

Start by browning the ground beef in a large pot over medium-high heat. Drain off the far. Then add in the green pepper and onion. Stir, then add in the minced garlic, ketchup, and 1 cup water. Stir to combine.

Add the brown sugar, chili powder, mustard, red pepper flakes, Worcestershire, Tabasco, salt and pepper. Stir to combine, then cover and simmer over medium-low heat for 20 minutes.

To serve, spread the kaiser rolls with softened butter and brown them on a griddle or skillet. Spoon a good amount of the meat mixture onto the bottom roll, then top with the other half.
