Malted Milk Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup salted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup golden brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup malted milk powder
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1 1/4 tsp salt
  • 12 oz bag milk or semisweet chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375.

  2. In a large bowl or your mixer, cream the butter and both sugars until fluffy. Add 1 egg at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add the malted milk powder and the vanilla and mix until combined.

  3. Sift in the flour, baking soda and salt. Mix until the ingredients are just incorporated. Finally, pour in the chocolate chips and mix until combined.

  4. Using a cookie scoop, place rounded tsp of dough on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper. Leave several inches of space around the cookies since they spread quite a bit.

  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until dark golden brown.
