One-Pot Pasta Dinner

Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 2 cups rotini or tortellini
- 2 Tbsp. dried minced onion
- 2 Tbsp. crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 (2.4 oz.) pkg. tomato-with-basil soup mix
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 1 tsp. dried minced garlic
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 tsp. ground red pepper
Directions
- Bring 4 cups water to a boil in a Dutch oven. Add pasta and next 3 ingredinets; cook 10 minutes or until tender. Add soup mix, oregano, and garlic; cook 5 minutes. Stir in cheese and red pepper. Serve immediately.

For backpackers, campers, etc. Place pasta, minced onion, red pepper flakes and salt in a small plastic zip-top bag. ( mark with #1). Place soup mix, oregano and garlic in another small bag (#2). cheese and red pepper in another bag. (#3). Place all these in a larger plastic bag with instructions for use.
