Ingredients
- Kadalai paruppu - 2tbsp
- Dhania - 3tbsp
- ulad dal - 1 and half tbsp
- red chillies - 10/12
- grated coconut - 2tbsp
- Small brinjals - 10/12
- Tamarind - lemon sized ball
Directions

Heat tbsp oil and fry the top 5 ingredients and powder it coarsely.

Split the brinjal into 4 but do not cut completely.

Stuff the brinjals with the grounded powder.

Fry mustard, vendhayam, hing and curry leaves in oil. Add the stuffed brinjal, turmeric powder and salt. cook on low flame until brinjal cooks.

when brinjal is half cooked add the tamarind pulp, remaining spice powder and salt. Cook on medium flame until thickens.
