Avena Oatmeal Smoothies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 6 cups any milk , divided use
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar, or to taste
  • About 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Place the oats in a bowl and add enough milk to completely cover it, 3 to 4 cups. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  2. Place the soaked oatmeal in a blender and add the remaining milk, sugar, cinnamon and vanilla. Blend until smooth. Serve cold.
