Spicy Grilled Kabobs

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. minced fresh or 2 tsp. dried thyme
  • 2 Tbsp. minced fresh or 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 2 Tbsp. minced fresh or dried rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1//2 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. ground red pepper
  • 2 (1 1/2 lb.) sirloin steaks, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • Garnish: fresh oregano sprigs

Directions

  1. Combine first 6 ingredients in a small bowl; crush mixture with the back of a spoon, and place in a heavy-duty zip-top plastic bag.
  2. Add steak cubes to bag; seal and shake to coat.
  3. Thread steak cubes onto skewers; cover and chill up to 2 hours.
  4. Grill, without grill lid over medium-high heat (350 to 400 degrees) 5 minutes on each side. Garnish, if desired.
  5. For Spicy Grilled Hamburgers, sprinkle seasoning mixture evenly on 8 ground beef patties; press gently into meat. Grill patties over medium-high heat (350 to 400 degrees) 5 minutes on each side or until no longer pink.
