Ingredients
- 8 oz dry penne pasta
- 4 oz fresh green beans, halved
- 4 strips thick-sliced bacon, chopped
- 1/2 cup mayo
- 3 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 2 tbsp sugar
- salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup pecan halves, toasted
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion
Directions

Cook pasta in a pot of boiling salted water according to directions, adding green beans in the last 2 minutes; drain, rinse with cold water, and drain again. Transfer pasta and green beans to a large bowl.

Cook bacon in a skillet until crisp; transfer to a paper-towel-lined plate/

Whisk together mayo, vinegar, and sugar for the dressing; season with salt and pepper.

Toss pasta and green beans with pecans, onion, bacon and dressing.
