Ingredients
- 4 oz. Roquefort cheese
- 1/2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened*
- 8 frozen phyllo dough sheets, thawed
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 16 fresh chives (optional)
Directions
- Combine cheeses, sti8rring until well blended.
- Brush half of 1 phyllo sheet with butter; fold in half. Repeat procedure twice to make a 6 × 4-inch rectangle. Spoon 1 rounded tablespoon cheese in center of rectangle; roll up, jellyroll fashion. Twist ends, and place on a lightly greased baking sheet. Repeat procedure with remaining phyllo sheets and cheese.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden, and tie ends with chives, if desired. Serve immediately.

*4 additional ounces Roquefort cheese may be substituted for cream cheese.
