BBQ Bacon Western Burgers

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 burger buns
  • 1/2 cup Heinz BBQ Carolina Vinegar Style Tangy BBQ sauce
  • 8 slices of bacon, cooked crispy
  • onion rings
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 4 big romaine lettuce leaves

Directions

  1. Preheat grill over medium high heat and clean the grates.
  2. In a medium size bowl, season the ground beef with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Divide the meat into 4 equal portions and form into ½" thick patties.
  3. Grill the patties on the grill until desired doneness. I like my burgers medium well, and cook about 4 minutes per side. Transfer to a plate and allow the patties to rest for 2 minutes.
  4. Place the patties on the burger buns. Top each with 2 tablespoons Heinz BBQ Carolina Vinegar Style Tangy BBQ sauce, sliced avocado, 2 slices of bacon, onion rings and lettuce. Serve warm.
