Fried red mullet – (Barbounia tiganita)

Ingredients

  • 1 kg red mullet
  • olive oil
  • Salt
  • Flour for coating
  • lemon juice

Directions

  1. Salt the fish, roll it in flour and fry it in oil. Fry until both sides are brown. Serve in a long platter.

  2. You may pour some lemon juice over the fish or even sprinkle them with some finely cut parsley.
