Ingredients
- 3 whole washed, unpeeled oranges
- 1 whole grapefruit
- 2 Tbsp whole cloves
- 1 bottle dry red wine
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 bottle port wine ( red wine and port wine combined should be 4 to 5 quarts)
- 5 to 6 quart slow cooker or large pot for stove top cooking
Directions

Bake the oranges and grapefruit until they are brown.

Stick the cloves into the fruits, and poke them in several places besides. Place oranges in slow cooker.

Add the red wine, sugar, and cinnamon sticks.

Cover and cook on low for 3 to 4 hours.

Add bottle of port and heat the mixture for another hour or so.

Serve warm from the pot.
