Ingredients
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup chili powder
- 6 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 cup minced onion
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 2 tsp. ground cumin
- 1 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp. ground red pepper
Directions
- Cook first 2 ingredients in hot oil in a large saucepan often, 2 minutes. Stir in onion; cook, stirring often, 3 minutes or until tender. Add garlic; cook, stirring often, 1 minute. Stir in remaining ingredients and 3 cups water. Cook, stirring often, 15 minutes or until thickened.
