Ingredients
- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup half-and-half
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- Freshly grated nutmeg for garnish
Directions
- Heat oven to 375 degrees.
- Line 9-ich pie plate with pie crust.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk the sugar with the flour, and then stir in the half-and-half, cream and vanilla. Pour into pie crust, and bake 45 minutes or until the filling is lightly set but jiggles when tapped on the side. Transfer the pie to a rack and let cool completely. Grate nutmeg over the top just before serving.
