Roasted Asparagus with Red Pepper Sauce

Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. teriyaki sauce
- 1 Tbsp. dried basil
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1 1/2 lbs. fresh asparagus, trimmed*
- Red Pepper Sauce:
- 1 (7 oz.) jar roasted sweet red peppers, drained and sliced
- 1/2 small onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. orange marmalade
- 1 Tbsp. teriyaki sauce
- 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp. dried crushed red pepper
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
Directions
- Stir together oil and next 7 ingredients in an 11 × 7-inch baking dish. Add asparagus, and toss to coat.
- Bake, covered, at 3275 degrees for 35 minutes, turning asparagus once. Remove with a slotted spoon, and serve with Red Pepper Sauce.
- *2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen asparagus, thawed, may be substituted .

Red Pepper Sauce:
- Saute first 3 ingredients in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 2 minutes. Add vinegar and next 5 ingredients, and cook 3 minutes. Remove from heat, and stir in mayonnaise.
