Jeresy dinner Coleslaw

Ingredients
- 1 head green cabbage, shredded (about 4 cups)
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1 shallot, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced celery
- 3/4 cup distilled white vinegar
- 1/2 cup canola oil
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 clove garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine cabbage, carrots, shallot and celery. Set aside.
- In a medium bowl, whisk remaining ingredients.
- Add dressing to vegetables. toss and combine well, coating vegetables thoroughly.
- Allow slaw to develop flavor and wilt for at least 1 hour at room temperature before serving.
