Angel Hair Pasta with Tomato Cream Sauce

Ingredients

  • 12 oz. angel hair pasta (capellini)
  • 1 jar (14 oz.) marinara sauce (about 1 2/3 cups)
  • 3/4 cup frozen petite peas, not thawed
  • 1/3 cup reduced-fat sour cream
  • Garnish: chopped fresh basil

Directions

  1. Bring a large covered pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cool according to package directions. Drain. Meanwhile, bring marinara sauce to a boil in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir in peas, cover and simmer 2 minutes or until peas are tender. Reduce heat to low, add sour cream and stir until blended.
  2. Toss pasta with sauce . Top with basil.
