Alice Mae’s Country Fried Okra Salad

Ingredients
- Vegetable oil, for deep frying
- 1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen breaded okra
- 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
- 1 bunch green onions, chopped
- 6 slices bacon, fried until crisp, crumbled
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 Tbsp. white vinegar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
Directions
- Heat oil in a large, heavy pot. Deep-fry okra as directed on package. Drain.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the fried okra, tomatoes, green onion and bacon, mix well.
- Ina separate bowl whisk together remaining ingredients. Add to okra mixture and toss to combine. Serve immediately.
