Caramel (Penuche) Frosting

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c butter
  • 1 c packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 c milk
  • 3 c sifted powdered sugar
  • 1/2 vanilla (optional)

Directions

  1. Melt butter and stir in brown sugar.

  2. Cook and stir until bubbly.

  3. Remove from heat.

  4. Add milk and beat vigorously till smooth.

  5. Beat in powdered sugar until spreadable.

  6. Quickly frost on cake.
