Chocolate Ganache Frosting

Serves 12 people

Ingredients

  • 6 oz. semisweet chocolate or 1 c chips.
  • 1/2 c whipping cream
  • 1 tsp butter

Directions

  1. Combine chocolate and whipping cream and heat over low until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth and creamy, stirring constantly.

  2. Remove form heat and stir in butter.

  3. Refrigerate 1-1 1/2 hrs., stir occasionally.

  4. Beat chilled mix until thick, creamy and spreadable.
