Mint Brownies

Ingredients
- Filling:
- 8 oz. Cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 c sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp mint extract
- 4 drops green food color
- Brownies:
- 1 c butter
- 4 oz. unsweetened chocolate, pieced
- 2 c sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 4 eggs
- 1 c flour
- Frosting:
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp corn syrup
- 2 tbsp water
- 2 oz. unsweetened chocolate, pieced
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 c powdered sugar
Directions

Filling: combine cream cheese and sugar. Beat until smooth. Add the egg, extract and color. Mix.

Brownie: Melt butter and chocolate over low, stir constantly. Remove form heat, cool 15 min.

Stir sugar and vanilla into chocolate mix.

d 4 eggs one at a time, beat after each 1.

Stir in flour, mix well.

Spread into greased and floured pan.

Carefully spoon filling over brownie mix.

Lightly swirl together.

Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes. Cool 1 hr.

Frosting;Combine butter, corn syrup and water and bring to a rolling boil.

Remove from heat.

Add chocolate, stir until melted.

Stir in vanilla and powdered sugar.

Beat until smooth.

Frost brownies when cooled.

STORE in refrigerator.
