Skillet Tomatoes

Ingredients

  • 4 large or 6 regular size tomatoes, cut into chunks or wedges
  • 1 to 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp. dried parsley
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

  1. Halve tomatoes. Melt butter in a skillet and add tomatoes, cut side down. Fry for a few minutes, until golden brown. Turn over, add seasonings, vinegar and oil, cover tightly and simmer 15 to 20 minutes.
