Pineapple Cream Cheese Pork Burger

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground pork
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. finely chopped green onions
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 4 Tbsp. Philadelphia Pineapple Cream Cheese Spread
  • 2 Tbsp. light mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp. teriyaki sauce
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Pineapple slices

Directions

  1. Combine pork, soy sauce, onions, pepper and garlic powder.
  2. Divide mixture into eight pieces and shape into thin, flat patties. Spread 1 Tbsp. cream cheese on top of four patties and place remaining patties on top, pressing together edges to seal.
  3. Cook in an oiled skillet or on a grill paqn over medium until fully cooked, about 5 minutes per side.
  4. Stir together mayonnaise and teriyaki sauce. Place burgers on buns, spread mayonnaise mixture on burgers and serve with a pineapple slice (and lettuce, if desired).
