Almond Pilaff

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1/2 cup 2-inch lengths vermicelli
  • 1/3 cup blanched almonds, chopped
  • 1 cup regular rice
  • 2 cans (10 1/2 oz.) onion soup, undiluted

Directions

  1. Melt margarine In nonstick saucepan; add vermicelli, almond and rice. Stir over medium het until mixture is golden.
  2. Heat soup to boiling and add to rice combination.
  3. Cover and simmer for about 25 minutes.
