Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 can (1 lb.) red cabbage
- 1 cup canned pie-sliced apples
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 2 Tbsp. light-brown sugar
- Ground cloves and allspice
- Chopped parsley
Directions
- Melt butter in heavy saucepan. Add onion and saute 5 minutes. Add next 4 ingredients and stir to mix. Simmer, uncovered, stirring occasionally, 20 minutes. Season to taste with the spices. Garnish with parsley and serve hot. with roast pork or pork patties, spareribs, ham, or duck.
