Apple Dumpling Roll-Up

Ingredients

  • 2 cups apples, shredded
  • 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • Pie crust, homemade or bought
  • 1 stick butter

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix apples and cinnamon.
  2. Boil water and sugar until dissolved.
  3. Roll pie crust into rectangle. Spread crust with apple mix; roll up and slice into thick slices.
  4. Melt butter in a small baking dish. Add slices to baking dish and pour sugar mixture over and bake 1 hour.
