Applesauce Glazed Pork Roast

Ingredients

  • 4 to 5 lb. boneless pork loin Roast (double loin, rolled and tied)
  • 1 1/2 cups applesauce
  • 3/4 cup red currant jelly
  • 4 tsp. Wyler's Beef-Flavor Instant Bouillon or 4 beef bouillon cubes
  • 1/4 tsp. ground allspice

Directions

  1. Insert meat thermometer so bulb is in the center of the thickest part of roast. Place roast on rack in shallow pan.
  2. Roast at 325 degrees uncovered about 2 1/2 hours or until meat thermometer registers 170 degrees.
  3. Meanwhile, in saucepan, combine remaining ingredients. Cook and stir until bouillon dissolves, about 5 minutes.
  4. Baste roast with about 1/3 of sauce during last 30 minutes of roasting. Serve remaining sauce warm with meat.
