Ingredients
- 2 cups sauerkraut
- 1/4 cup fat
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 apples, cored and quartered
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. caraway seed
- 2 small uncooked potatoes, pared and grated
Directions
- Combine sauerkraut, fat, water, apples and onion in saucepan. Cook slowly until apples are tender. Add salt, sugar, caraway seed and potatoes. Continue cooking about 5 minutes or until potatoes are done.
