Ingredients
- 1/2 cup finely diced salt pork
- 3/4 cup chopped onion
- 3 large apples, peeled and coarsely chopped
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/8 tsp. thyme leaves
- 1 tsp. caraway seed
- 1 can (1 lb.) sauerkraut, drained
Directions
- Cook salt pork until translucent. Add onion and apples and cook until tender. Add next 4 ingredients, then add sauerkraut and toss lightly. Use as stuffing for duck.
