Ingredients
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 2 cups apples, peeled and chopped
- 6 cups stale bread cubes
- 2 Tbsp. water or liquid from cooking giblets
Directions
- Saute celery and onion in butter. Add salt, pepper, apples, bread and sprinkle with water. More moisture will come from the apples and cooked dressing will not be dry. Mix dressing well and stuff turkey.

Makes enough dressing for 10 to 12 lb. bird
