Apricot Glazed Turkey and Yams

Ingredients
- 15 lb. turkey
- 1 1/2 cups apricot preserves
- 1/2 cup KARO light corn syrup
- 3 Tbsp. sherry
- 3/4 tsp. ground ginger
- 8 Louisiana Yams, cooked and peeled or 3 (23 oz.) cans yams, drained.
Directions

Prepare turkey according to package instructions

Mix together next 4 ingredients and heat to boiling. Remove from heat. During last 30 minutes of cooking, spoon 1 cup glaze over yams in shallow baking dish and brush turkey frequently with remaining glaze.
