Asian Cheese Spread

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. confectioners' sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. finely chopped crystallized ginger or 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1 Tbsp. thinly sliced green onions
  • 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 small garlic clove, minced
  • 1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, cut into 36 cubes
  • 2 Tbsp. sesame seeds
  • Rice crackers

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the first six ingredients.

  2. Add the cream cheese cubes; gently toss to coat. OR you can leave the cream cheese whole and let your guests spoon up what they want.

  3. To serve, place cream cheese on rice crackers; sprinkle with sesame seeds.
