Ingredients
- 6 to 8 apples, quartered
- 1/2 cup butter or fortified margarine
- 1 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
Directions

Place apples in greased 2-quart baking dish.

Blend together, as for making pie dough, the butter, sugar, flour and cinnamon. Work until crumbly, then pack closely over apples. If apples are very dry, a little water may be placed in the bottom of the dish.

Bake 45 to 60 minutes in moderate oven (375 degrees).

Serve warm with a little whipped cream or lemon sauce.
