Honeybell Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 18.25 ounce package Lemon cake
  • 1 3 ounce package orange jello
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 3/4 cup orange juice (add water if needed)
  • 4 eggs

Directions

  1. Combine cake mix, gelatin, oil, zest, juice, eggs and beat on low speed.

  2. Beat medium speed for 2 minutes.

  3. Pour batter in a 10 inch prepared pan (Pam spray and Flour)

  4. Bake @350*until done (follow directions on cake box)

  5. confectioners sugar – 2 cups

  6. H.B. juice for Honeybell Glaze – 1/3 cup

  7. melted butter – 2 tablespoons

  8. H.B. zest for Honeybell glaze – 2 tablespoons.

  9. Poke holes in warm cake and pour glaze over top.

  10. Ice with orange buttercream or Orange flavored whipped cream
